Perry Middle School was first opened in 1969 and served Worthington middle school students until 2010. At that time, Perry was closed and the building was used to house the Phoenix Middle School alternative program as well as Rockbridge Academy..
In 2018, the Worthington community passed a bond that funded the renovation and expansion of all of the district's middle schools, as well as the reopening of Perry Middle School.
Perry was reopened for the start of the 2021-2022 school year to help the district handle increasing enrollment.
Bluffsview Elementary, Brookside Elementary and Slate Hill Elementary feed into Perry Middle School which will in turn feed into Worthington Kilbourne High School. The building continues to house Phoenix Middle School, Worthington Academy and Rockbridge Academy.
Jodi Robertson is the Principal of Perry Middle School. She joined Worthington Schools after serving as an assistant principal at Marysville STEM Early High School.

Portrait of a Learner
At Perry, we believe in the power of every student to make a positive impact. Our Portrait of a Learner reflects the qualities we nurture in our students:
- Solution Seekers: We engage in problem-solving strategies to build curiosity, connections, and alternative solutions.
- Global Thinkers: We seek a variety of perspectives, investigate the world, communicate ideas, and take meaningful action.
- Resilient Learners: We adapt and evolve through change to develop our confidence and character.
- Kind, Empathetic Friends: We choose words and actions that reflect empathy, kindness, and hope.
We value the development of a connected community of learners.
